These digital programmable 12V ignitions are mainly used for race engines. The Oscillator type is a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition), while the Transistor is an Inductive Discharge Ignition The Oscillator has a very low power consumption, while the Transistor needs at least 3 amperes. The advantages are: a very low starting RPM, and huge sparks.

			In some cases you will have to make some adjustments for these sets to fit onto your engine. This is necessary to properly line up the pick-up (pulser) with the included disc. This could mean making a baseplate, adjusting the shaft, or adjusting the disc.
